Bodies in Motion is a full image library from Scott Eaton’s 2009 photo shoot of the same name. Scott has managed to upload a small sample of the full 10,000 image library.
Inspired by photographer Eadweard Muybridge, the purpose was to capture the dynamic figure in motion. Each image was shot at 10 frames-per-second from various camera angles, giving the artist multiple vantage points for effectively translating the pose to the page.
looking at the small sample library, it seems to be a great reference for studying the human body in motion. The full image library is being offered as reference to those who subscribe to Eaton’s online Anatomy for Artists course.
